8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. Registration/ Breakfast

9:00 A.M. – 10:30 A.M.Chasing the Bag (Building Your Business from Scratch): This workshop is designed to identify how millennial entrepreneurs think and prioritize limited resources. Participants will learn how to bootstrap a business and the benefits of MBE certification. The session will conclude with an interactive startup simulation. We encourage anyone who is thinking about or has recently started a business to attend.

10:40 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.Life After the Gram (Behind the Scenes of Entrepreneurship): Not all businesses are the same but many obstacles they face are. Participants can expect to walk away from this workshop with an in-depth understanding of the challenges lean startups face and pitfalls to avoid. We encourage anyone who is thinking about or has recently started a business to attend.

12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. NextGen Dialogue/ Working Lunch: This session is designed to provide students with a platform to collaborate with millennial MBE’s about working with the CVMSDC. BYE will engage with participants to identify future opportunities and explore forming an auxiliary group. We encourage anyone who wants to lead the conversation around millennial entrepreneurship in the Carolinas and Virginia to attend. Conversation topics will be used to identify the next steps for CVMSDC NextGen efforts.
